Project description
The aim was to create a dependable, intuitive, and easy-to-use native app that allows users (patients) to quickly locate and schedule sessions for physiotherapy, sports therapy, and other similar services.
Timeline
2 Weeks
Background
The idea for this project originated from my own search for rehabilitation sports.
I noticed a lack of information available online and on service websites.
This inspired me to create a native booking app for physiotherapy, rehabilitation sports, and similar services.
The goal is to provide users with a faster and more relevant way to access all the information they need.
Problem
Getting information about these centers can be really tricky. Most websites don’t have basic details like their hours, whether they’re open, or how to contact them. It can get pretty frustrating when you just want to plan a visit.
Then, when you finally show up, there’s another problem: long lines at the registration desk. People are stuck waiting, looking at their phones, and trying not to lose patience. It makes you wonder why things can’t be a bit easier.
Process
Research & Planning
I conducted market research on existing apps such as Doctolib, Jameda, and Doctena and sports apps like Urban Sport Club.
I defined target audience segments and outlined key features based on user needs and market trends.
Design & Prototyping
Developed low-fidelity wireframes using Balsamiq and Figma.
I conducted usability testing to evaluate both functionality and design, ensuring the user experience was as user-friendly as possible.
Usability testing showed problems on signing up flow as it seemed to be impracticable.
Implemented user reviewing, garnered key insights, and improved the interface grounded on these discoveries.
Created high fidelity wireframes following iOS and Material guidelines for native app.
Implementation, Testing & Optimization
Many positive user testing reviews emphasize the app's intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
Solution
This user-friendly native app allows patients to easily find user-area physiotherapy or sports therapy, book appointments, and complete paperwork quickly and easily, all in one place.

Learnings
This project taught me the importance of building a native app that prioritizes simplicity and efficiency and follows iOS and Material guidelines.
However, I recognize that there’s always room for improvement. The new redesign will have a more modern and visually engaging interface, with updated iOS and Android updates along with improved and additional functionalities to make the app even more intuitive and easier to use.
