Project description
The goal was to develop a straightforward, reliable, and user-friendly app that benefits both buyers and sellers.
Timeline
2 Weeks
Background
Vint was created to provide fashion enthusiasts with an easy, secure, and scam-free platform for buying and selling used clothing.
Problem
Despite the rising popularity of secondhand fashion, users often struggle with assessing the actual quality and condition of items due to a lack of transparency.
The prevalence of scams and fraudulent ads further erodes users' confidence, making them reluctant to complete purchases.
Process
Research & Planning
I conducted market research to pinpoint challenges and preferences in fashion e-commerce.
I defined target audience segments and outlined key features based on user needs and market trends.
Design & Testing & Optimization
I developed a simple style guide and prototype to collect valuable feedback, allowing to enhance the interface significantly based on these insights.

Solution
Verified Buyers & Sellers
To prevent scams, the Vint app uses a verification badge to indicate that an account is authentic and verified.
This involves submitting a profile photo, sharing a social media link, and undergoing a review process.
Smoothness of the Payment Process
Effortless merging with focus on a familiar, user-friendly with compelling CTAs, and clear layout.
Control & Authenticity Insurance
Offering a service for control and authenticity insurance and free shipping.
