Suvera Fresh is an e-commerce and SaaS platform, along with a native app, designed for users and administrators. It delivers uncooked and fresh non-vegetarian items directly to customers' homes.

I worked as a freelance UI Designer on this project, where my responsibility was to design a web-responsive app.

Background

The goal was to build trust with users by utilising familiar e-commerce UI patterns while adhering to brand guidelines, maintaining a clean visual style, and ensuring intuitive navigation.

Process

Research & Planning

To improve the overall user experience and align with industry standards, I began by exploring common UI patterns used by successful e-commerce platforms. My goal was to design a retail experience that felt familiar and trustworthy to users, encouraging them to engage with the site more comfortably.
I then conducted a competitive analysis of leading e-commerce platforms to identify key features contributing to high user engagement and smooth navigation. Through this analysis, I observed that top-performing sites shared a common focus: intuitive shopping pages with clear product categorization and effective filtering systems.
Based on these insights, I identified an opportunity to improve the product filtering feature. By simplifying the process and streamlining the interface, I reduced friction and enhanced the browsing experience. This redesign made it easier for users to find products quickly, ultimately improving the overall usability of the site and aligning it with best practices in the e-commerce industry.

I conducted a competitor analysis to identify and explore common UI patterns in existing e-commerce products, aiming to enhance the retail experience and make it as familiar and trustworthy as possible for customers.

Design & Prototyping

Collaborated closely with the product manager, fellow designers, and developers to create user-friendly interfaces using agile methodology.
Based on feedback from testing and stakeholders, I refined the designs to better align with the goals and expectations.
To create a responsive web app, I followed the native app's design to ensure visual consistency and a smooth user experience across devices.
This approach optimised efficiency and allowed seamless transitions between the app and web interfaces.
